Join the College of Business, students and Jay Schnoor for this exciting webinar. After this, you will have knowledge about how you fit as a first-year Business student in Innovation Nation: our new living/learning community for first-year pre-business students.

If you choose this program — You’ll live in one of our two business-themed residence halls – Weatherford or Poling – where you’ll dive into a variety of learning opportunities created with people like you in mind. People who want to design, create and build their futures in ways that improve lives and communities.

You’ll learn to think critically, to appreciate diversity, to develop a mindset of service, to cultivate a global perspective. You’ll have access to a high-tech market-space, and social events and symposiums with executives and entrepreneurs.

You’ll even take some of your classes in your residence hall, including the fall term B-Engaged course and the two-course Innovation Nation series. We will also have a student of business available for questions and comments after it is complete.

osu Ellen 2.jpgJoin Ellen Momsen, Students, and Jay Schnoor to learn how OSU prepares students in the College of Business and Engineering for life after college through programs like the Oregon State University Advantage Accelerator and Women in Engineering.

These programs bring cutting edge ideas to market by connecting innovators and entrepreneurs to the resources they need for success, assisting technology-based early stage companies from the mid-Willamette Valley and extended Oregon State University community.

Students have the opportunity to join the accelerator program as interns and work with businesses through entrepreneurship courses. The Close to the Customer Project provides professional market research and consulting services delivered by faculty/student teams. Students have the opportunity to work directly with faculty, industry professionals and potential employers
